The Digital Researcher is a resource for writers and researchers who want to make the most of the tools now available.
This site is maintained by me, Catherine Pope. I’m a learning technologist and academic. In 2014 I was awarded my PhD on the Victorian novelist Florence Marryat by the University of Sussex, where I teach digital research skills. I’ve also taught nineteenth-century literature at the University of Brighton. Before becoming an academic, I worked for 12 years as a web developer and IT manager.
I’m available for either freelance projects or permanent roles related to teaching or elearning.
